Ambassador Anthony Johnson was a true patriot who has given sterling service to Jamaica at the highest levels of both the public and private sectors. I am grateful to have had the privilege of working closely with Ambassador Johnson during his tenure as Jamaica's High Commissioner to London. His profound grasp of Jamaican history, the erudite discussions that flowed therefrom, as well as his strong advocacy for business development and his witty personality, are etched in the memory. I extend heartfelt condolences to Minister Kamina Johnson Smith and the other members of his family. May his soul rest in peace.
